What Type Of Tablet Should I Get?
Everything you need to know about buying a tablet. You actually don't need that much money, for the sake of explaining I am going to break tablets into 2 major groups 1, screen vs. no screen and 2 by brand name, given how expensive you can go with the Wacom tablets.
No Screen Tablets
The first is self-explanatory but your budget will determine this category for you. The tablets with no screen are much cheaper ranging anywhere from $75-100$ Typically, But if you are just getting started with a limited options these tablets can really benefit a talented artist get work out there but requires very good hand eye coordination to both draw and look at something while drawing. At first it takes some getting used to but in time it should get easier!
This is the Wacom Intuos great for starters with a low budget and new to the game selling for about 59.95 on amazon.
Screen Tablets
Now Screen Tablets can lean closer to the expensive side but if you follow along I can show you some more affordable options. Starting as a traditional artist going to Digital I find screen tablets to be the best. screen tablets can range from $200-$2,000 and up!
Now my first screen tablet was by XP-Pen and was great! It lasted me for 2 years and then I sold my tablet and upgraded to a different tablet.
This is the XP-Pen 15"great for starters with little experience in digital art selling for about $399.99 on Amazon. but you can also go for the more affordable XP-Pen 13" for $259.99
Tablets Brands
With some tablets you really are paying for the brand name and logo rather then the equipment. Make sure to do your due diligence and study up on the tablets you are looking at.
